Rental includes the fuel, a map of surrounding waters, a net/bucket/bait board/knife and lifejackets.
Yes! Rod rentals and bait are available in store. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment. For crabbing, we do not rent the traps as they are very inexpensive and are sold in store! We have crabbing bait as well.
Parking is free and is street parking. All along Bay Ave & up side streets are free parking. There is also a lot at 2nd and Bay which is free to park in. We are directly on the corner of 3rd & bay.
You can bring food and drinks, and it is BYOB! We do have a snack bar in the store and also have ice. Boats are also dog friendly =]
Reservations are not required but are always strongly suggested! Keep in mind you also need to arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation!
Never boated? No problem! We’ll show you how! Both boats are very easy to operate! Pontoons are similar to driving a car. The Mates will get your boat ready, assist with loading, show you how to use the rods and go over the map with you, and go over the operation of the boat and functions before sending you off!
No, but you do need to be at least 24 years old and have a valid US drivers license.
Anyone fishing over the age of 16 needs to have a fishing license to fish in New Jersey. You can register for one in store or online at saltwaterregistry.nj.gov
Yes, although there is a ramp to get to the floating dock which may be too narrow for some wheelchairs.
